DEALAI METHODOLOGY
BUY vs WATCH vs REJECT: What DealAI Decisions Mean
DealAI decisions are signals about evidence and economics, not promises of profit. The three labels deliberately communicate different levels of confidence.
BUY — the strongest signal
BUY is reserved for a deal that clears the engine's core gates: positive net economics, meaningful customer savings against validated comparable pricing, verified resale or licensing rights, sufficient independent evidence and a strong overall score. BUY still does not guarantee that a future transaction will be profitable.
WATCH — potentially interesting, but incomplete
WATCH means the deal may have positive economics or useful signals, but one or more requirements for a strong BUY decision are not sufficiently established. That might include weak market evidence, uncertain demand, a smaller margin or incomplete validation. A member can still inspect or choose the opportunity; the label is the warning.
REJECT — the economics or trust case is not good enough
REJECT means DealAI found a serious problem. The economics may be negative, the proposed sale price may not cover costs, rights may be unsuitable, or the evidence may fail the required standards. The purpose of showing REJECT opportunities is transparency: members can see what the engine filtered out instead of being shown only attractive results.
Why we do not hide WATCH and REJECT
DealAI is an intelligence tool, not a gatekeeper. Members should be able to understand the full opportunity landscape. Showing the weaker signals also makes the system easier to audit and prevents the interface from creating the impression that every listed opportunity is a guaranteed winner.
What the score does — and does not — mean
The score is a summary of evidence, economics, rights and other signals. It is not a probability of profit and it should never be presented as a guarantee. A high score with missing critical evidence should not be promoted to BUY.
